Not at all. Many moms come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, irritable, or “not like themselves” even if things look fine on the outside. You don’t have to wait until you’re at your breaking point to get support. We can all use support!

Some issues that come up in session with moms are: postpartum mood and anxiety symptoms, pregnancy and birth trauma, mom rage, burnout, identity shifts in motherhood, intrusive thoughts, relationship and communication struggles, guilt, perfectionism and the mental load of motherhood.

Sessions are conversational, supportive, and tailored to you. Some days we may process emotions; other days we may work on coping skills, boundaries, or nervous system regulation. There’s no pressure to “do therapy right”: you show up as you are.

Yes. Virtual sessions allow you to attend therapy from the comfort of your home, during nap time, or wherever feels easiest. All sessions are private, secure, and HIPAA-compliant, and all babies/children are welcome!

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Most moms start with weekly sessions and may transition to bi-weekly as they feel more grounded and supported.

I am an out-of-network provider and can provide superbills for reimbursement. I also partner with Thrizer, a platform designed to submit superbills on your behalf.

Yes. Therapy is confidential with limited legal and ethical exceptions, which we will review together during your first session so you feel informed and safe.

Crying is welcome here. So is laughter, anger, numbness, or silence. There is no “too much” in this space: your emotions are allowed.
